The Process
Step 1 - Discovery
I’ll be in touch shortly after you submit your inquiry and you’ll have the option to book a free, no-pressure Discovery Call with me. We’ll go over your goals for your website and if we decide we’re a good fit, I’ll send over a Proposal. Once you’ve looked it over, signed the contract, and paid your deposit, your project will be officially booked!
Step 2 - Plan + Prep
Once you’re booked, I’ll send over the link to your Project Dashboard. Inside, you’ll find everything you need to get ready for your website build! There will be a Brand Questionnaire, places to submit inspiration, and even worksheets to help you write your website copy if you need them. You’ll also be able to ask questions and get support from me right in your Project Dashboard, so you’ll never feel like you’re doing this alone!
Step 3 - The Build
I’ll carefully review your questionnaires and inspiration, and then I’ll get busy designing! I’ll be in close touch the whole time, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to see the progress and request revisions. Any edits you request will be completed promptly and once I get final approval from you, we’ll move to the next step of the process!
Step 4 - Launch
Once your build is finished and I’ve received final approval from you, I’ll connect your domain to your new site and we’ll hit the launch button! Yayyy! I’ll transfer site ownership over to you after receiving your final payment and deliver any final files. You’ll also receive access to video tutorials on how to maintain your new website!
Step 5 - Support
You’ll have lifetime access to the video tutorials to help you update and maintain your new site, as well as additional support via email for 2-3 weeks post-handoff, depending on your package. You can feel free to ask any questions about your new site during that period! After that, you can always book me at my hourly rate.

Honestly? Longer than most people expect.
When you choose your project date, I highly recommend giving yourself a few weeks to move through it thoughtfully (especially if you’re writing your own copy or juggling all the things in your biz… hello solopreneur life).
The prework is designed to help you dig deep and get clear on your brand strategy so I can design a visual identity and website that aligns flawlessly with your vision and sets your business up for long-term success.
Rushing through it won’t do either of us any favors, and will make the process less fun!

This is a collaboration, not a handoff, and that means you’ll have some homework!
You’ll be responsible for completing questionnaires, gathering inspiration, collecting photos, writing your copy (or getting help with it), and providing feedback along the way.
That said, I walk you through every single step and take a ton off your plate. The more energy and intention you bring to the process, the more I can absolutely nail your design.

Yes, at this time I work exclusively in Squarespace. If you currently have a website you’d like redesigned and it’s not in Squarespace, we can still work together if you don’t mind moving to Squarespace!

If you have a site already, whether or not it’s on Squarespace, and you’d like a redesign, I can do that for you! If you have a site that’s not on Squarespace, however, you’ll have to be okay with switching to a new platform, because I work exclusively with Squarespace at this time.

To bring your website to life, I’ll need a few key things from you:
Photos – Professional, high-res brand photos are ideal, but I can work with what you’ve got (and help you choose what works best).
Website copy – That’s the words that will go on your site: about info, service descriptions, etc. Don’t worry, I give you prompts to make it doable.
Word to the wise: if you’ve never written website copy before, it takes some time! Keep this in mind when booking your build date.
If you’d rather work with a copywriter, let me know and we can collab with one of my faves!
Legal policies – Such as a Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Disclaimer (I’ll point you toward an easy, affordable option if you don’t have these yet).

Domain + login info – If you’ve already bought a domain (through a domain registrar like Namecheap or GoDaddy), I’ll need the login so I can connect it to your site. If you haven’t done that yet, no worries! I can guide you.
If that seems like a lot, don’t stress! I'll walk you through exactly what’s needed and when. You won’t be left guessing!

You will need to subscribe to a Squarespace Plan in order to launch your website, if you haven't already. As a Squarespace Circle Member, I'm able to offer you 20% off of your first year! You can view Squarespace's pricing plans here. I recommend the Core plan for most service-based businesses.
You will also want to seriously consider purchasing legal policies for your website prior to launching. I recommend at least a Privacy Policy as it is a legal requirement here in the US and Google tends to penalize websites without them by sending less traffic their way.

Because I believe in doing business with integrity and I know you do too. These days, people want to know that their money is supporting folks who share their values and aren’t out there funding harmful systems. Totally fair.
I share my values up front so we both know this is a safe, respectful space to collaborate. If we’re fundamentally misaligned, neither of us is going to enjoy the process of working together. But if reading those values made you breathe a little easier? We’re gonna work really well together.
